The first batch of RT brand aviation fuel was produced at Atyrau Refinery LLP. Thus, having completed the production of TS-1 aviation fuel by September 25, from October Atyrau Refinery will completely switch over to the production of new products.
To date, aviation fuel of the RT brand by Atyrau Refinery has passed certification and has the receipt with the corresponding PIN code for the product. Accordingly, airlines will be able to purchase this aviation fuel and fuel in their air transport.
The production of a new type of aviation fuel for both civil and military aircraft began as part of the expansion of Atyrau Refinery's light petroleum product line after the completion of the modernization project. Thus, the production of jet fuel will grow from 21 thousand tons (before modernization) to 230 thousand tons per year in 2019, that is, more than 10 times.
