Mr. Murat Dosmuratov, CEO of the Plant, heads of production and structural divisions also joined the environmental campaign. During the campaign, over 450 seedlings of elm and gray poplar, resistant to the saline soil of the region, were planted on 0.7 hectares. The Atyrau Refinery employees themselves intend to maintain the plants.

It is worth noting that the total area of the SPZ of the plant is 805 hectares. To date, 28% of the area has been landscaped, i.e. 225 hectares. The complex of services for maintaining of existing plantings is provided by Saulet-Kurylys LLP

This year, in order to meet sanitary requirements, NC "KazMunayGas" JSC allocated a budget for landscaping of 65 hectares. By the end of the year, another 15 700 seedlings are planned to be planted on 32.9 hectares. In order to get the necessary amount of territory for landscaping, Atyray Refinery LLP sent a letter to the Akimat of Atyrau city for provision of additional plots.

At the initiative of employees of Atyrau Refinery, the "green" campaign is also held on the territory of the plant. Thus, in this April, 300 trees and shrubs were planted to improve the ecological situation of the city. Landscaping work on the territory of Atyrau Refinery will continue until the end of the planting season.  

Being the enterprise interested in improving the ecological climate of the region, Atyrau Refinery LLP will continue to contribute to the landscaping and improvement of the city of Atyrau and implementation of planned environmental measures.
